Is the Crystal Cube battery different from the 25K battery?
Yes, but only in capacity. The Off Stamp Crystal Cube battery is the base that ships inside the Crystal 35K Kit and is sized for a 35,000-puff pod; the 25K base is sized for a 25,000-puff pod. Both are the same design — a detachable, rechargeable battery pack that the magnetic pod snaps onto, charged over USB-C in about 45 minutes. Neither battery pack is sold on its own; each comes as the device half of its kit, and Crystal pods belong on the Crystal base.
How long does one charge last?
A real-world charge cycle on a 25K Cube device gives roughly 600–800 puffs before the LED starts blinking low. Indicator light meanings
- Solid LED while drawing — drawing successfully, battery at usable level.
- Solid LED while idle, USB connected — charging in progress.
- LED off while USB connected — fully charged.
- Blinking LED on draw — battery at ~10% or below. Plug in within a few draws.
- 3-blink burst on draw — short circuit or low-resistance fault. Try a different pod.
- 10-blink burst on connection — over-discharge protection triggered. Charge for at least 10 minutes before next draw.
Charging best practice
- Use the included USB-C cable or any 1A+ phone-grade replacement.
- Avoid leaving the device plugged in overnight indefinitely — top-off cycles add wear.
- Charge in a temperature range of 50–95°F (10–35°C) for best longevity.
- Do not modify the device or use third-party fast chargers above 2A.
Battery lifespan and what shortens it

Recycling & disposal
